RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Dr. Shemal B. Scott; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Dr. Shemal B. Scott has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for
the vital role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal
commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
she has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her time,
talents, and energy toward the betterment of her community and state as
evidenced by her superlative service at the Emanuel Health Clinic;
and
WHEREAS,
she encourages and educates her patients thoroughly on prevention medicine;
and
WHEREAS,
it is appropriate that this body join in expressing appreciation to Dr. Scott
for her outstanding efforts and accomplishments in health.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Dr. Shemal B. Scott for her sacrifice, foresight, accomplishments, and
contributions on behalf of health in Georgia and recognize her for the positive
influence she has had upon the lives and futures of the citizens in this
state.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Dr. Shemal B. Scott.
