A
RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Daniel Miller; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most
important objective of the General Assembly; and
WHEREAS,
Daniel Miller has shown by the example of his academic accomplishments that the
pursuit and attainment of scholastic success are within the reach of the
students in this state; and
WHEREAS,
this remarkable scholar has earned distinction through his outstanding
achievements as a student at Jefferson High School, where he was a gifted
student and was selected as Jefferson High School's 2009 STAR Student;
and
WHEREAS,
Daniel became active in Boy Scouts and Tae Kwon Do at an early age, which
instilled him with a great sense of responsibility and self-respect;
and
WHEREAS,
an active member of the Jefferson High School marching band, Daniel serves as a
role model for his peers and neighbors; and
WHEREAS,
Daniel has personified the selfless dedication, mental agility, verbal
adroitness, and personal maturity necessary for superlative academic
performance, and he plans to attend Georgia Institute of Technology;
and
WHEREAS,
the State of Georgia looks with great anticipation toward the future of this
bright and promising young citizen.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body heartily commend Daniel Miller for his spectacular scholastic
endeavors, congratulate him on his selection as Jefferson High School's 2009
STAR Student, and express to him their sincerest best wishes for continued
academic success in the future.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Daniel
Miller.
