RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending South Gwinnett High School's Mr. Sophomore South 2010 Chris
Hambie; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Chris Hambie has shown by the example of his academic accomplishments and
extracurricular involvement that the pursuit and attainment of excellence are
within the reach of the students in this state; and
WHEREAS,
Chris recently earned the prestigious title of Mr. Sophomore South 2010 at South
Gwinnett High School; and
WHEREAS,
a sophomore at South Gwinnett High School, Chris is the son of Christopher and
Carol Hambie; and
WHEREAS,
Chris plays football and runs track and hopes to attend college on an athletic
scholarship to play football; and
WHEREAS,
this amazing student enjoys playing sports, reading the Sunday comics, and
listening to his favorite musician, TI; and
WHEREAS,
by his many achievements and confidence, Chris has brought credit to his
parents, his community, his school, and this state; and
WHEREAS,
all Georgians are proud of young men who, like Chris, represent the very best
that this state has to offer; and
WHEREAS,
the State of Georgia looks forward with great anticipation to the promising and
bright future of this remarkable young citizen.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body congratulate Chris Hambie on being named Mr. Sophomore South 2010 and
extend to him best wishes for his near and distant future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Sophomore
South 2010 Chris Hambie.
