RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Reverend Beverly Rollins on 24 years of service to the State of
Georgia and local communities; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Reverend Beverly Rollins has demonstrated her commitment to teaching the Gospel,
witnessing Christ through word and deed, and addressing the physical,
psychological, intellectual, and spiritual needs of others; and
WHEREAS,
she has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital role
that she has played in leadership and her deep personal commitment to the
welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
over the past 24 years, Reverend Rollins has worked to improve the spiritual and
educational growth of communities and the State of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
whether the task is preparing a sermon, visiting the sick, counseling the
troubled, baptizing a new believer, or acting as a theologian, educator,
administrator, or humanitarian, Reverend Rollins serves as a shining example of
God's righteous path; and
WHEREAS,
the unmatched spiritual assistance offered by Reverend Rollins is a source of
strength and direction for persons in all walks of life and from all economic
strata; and
WHEREAS,
she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that this enduring example of God's message
of peace and love be recognized and congratulated for her innumerable good works
rendered on behalf of persons in need.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body congratulate Reverend Beverly Rollins for her efficient, effective,
unselfish, and dedicated community service and extend best wishes for many more
years of successful fellowship and leadership.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Reverend
Beverly Rollins.
