RESOLUTION
Commending
Eddie Shults on his selection by the Georgia Art Education Association for
Gilbert Elementary School; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Eddie Shults is an outstanding student attending Gilbert Elementary School in
Walker County, Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
his artwork was selected by the Georgia Art Education Association to represent
his school and be placed on exhibit in the Capitol Art Exhibit in the Twin
Towers Building in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 10, 2010; and
WHEREAS,
the Capitol Art Exhibit is one of the most important and distinguished art
exhibits for the display of young artists' work in this state, and this talented
work will be available for viewing until February 27, 2010; and
WHEREAS,
quality education for the young people of this state includes an opportunity to
explore and communicate important ideas and passions through the medium of art
and the display of meaningful artistic creations; and
WHEREAS,
Eddie Shults has proven himself to be a talented and accomplished artist, and
through his dedication, hard work, and extraordinary accomplishments, he stands
as a shining example for other young people in this state to
follow.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Eddie Shults for his efforts and accomplishments and express
to him their sincere best wishes for continued success in the
future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Eddie Shults.
