A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT


To amend an Act creating a new charter for the City of Coolidge, approved June 2, 2010 (Ga. L. 2010, p. 3828), so as to change provisions relating to the time of holding of municipal elections; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.
An Act creating a new charter for the City of Coolidge, approved June 2, 2010 (Ga. L. 2010, p. 3828), is amended by revising Section 5.11 as follows:
"SECTION 5.11.
Regular Elections; Time for Holding.

Elections for mayor and city council shall be held on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November of each election year. Beginning in 2011 and every four years thereafter there shall be an election for three council members. Beginning in 2013 and every four years thereafter there shall be an election for mayor and three council members."

SECTION 2.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
