Summary
A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to elementary and secondary education, so as to establish an alternative performance-based salary schedule; to establish evaluation instruments to determine the effectiveness of teachers and administrators; to phase in use of such evaluation instruments and salary schedule due to the scale of transition; to provide that the effectiveness measurements shall include student achievement; to revise provisions for purposes of conformity; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
