Summary
A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to elementary and secondary education, so as to extensively revise the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program; to revise the short title; to revise definitions; to require a signed agreement by parents; to extend the uses for which scholarship funds may be used; to revise requirements for eligibility and participation; to provide for administration of certain aspects of the program by the Office of the State Treasurer; to revise provisions relating to scholarship funds; to provide for a Program Review Committee to review expenditures upon request; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
