Summary

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 1 of Article 2 of Chapter 8 of Title 12 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions relative to solid waste management, so as to require the director of the Division of Environmental Protection to regulate the storage, treatment, and disposal of coal combustion residuals; to prohibit the Division of Environmental Protection from issuing certain permits related to storage, treatment, and disposal of coal combustion residuals; to provide for a definition; to provide for legislative intent; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
