Summary

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 2 of Chapter 12 of Title 45 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to powers and duties of the Governor generally, so as to provide that the Governor shall be authorized to take such action as necessary to cause the State of Georgia and the Southern States Energy Board to conduct an inventory of oil and natural gas in the coastal areas of Georgia and investigate the possibilities of exploration and drilling; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
