Summary

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 12 of Title 16 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to offenses against health and morals, so as to prohibit the sale of wireless telephones and wireless prepaid telephones to any person under the age of 18 years of age without the prior written consent of such person's parent or guardian; to provide for definitions; to provide criminal penalties; to require certain signage or notice; to provide for administration and enforcement; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date and applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
