Summary

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 4 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to animals, so as to extensively revise provisions relating to dogs and especially provisions relating to dangerous and vicious dogs; to define and redefine terms; to provide for liability for injuries and damage caused by dogs; to amend Code Section 51-2-7 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to liability for injury caused by vicious or dangerous animals, so as to provide for a conforming amendment; to state legislative intent; to provide for other related matters; to provide for an effective date and applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
