Summary

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 21-5-30 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to contributions made to candidate or campaign committee or for recall of a public officer, so as to provide that any person acting on behalf of an insurance corporation, partnership, or business regulated by the Commissioner of Insurance shall not make any contribution to a political campaign for such office or to any campaign conducted by an incumbent commissioner; to prohibit certain gifts to such officer or his or her family; to provide for a penalty; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
