Florida Senate - 2022 SB 1704 By Senator Ausley 3-00641-22 20221704__ 1 A bill to be entitled 2 An act relating to the Social Services Estimating 3 Conference; amending s. 216.136, F.S.; requiring the 4 Social Services Estimating Conference to develop 5 specified information related to the home-based and 6 community-based Medicaid waiver program; providing an 7 effective date. 8 9 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 10 11 Section 1. Paragraph (c) is added to subsection (6) of 12 section 216.136, Florida Statutes, to read: 13 216.136 Consensus estimating conferences; duties and 14 principals.— 15 (6) SOCIAL SERVICES ESTIMATING CONFERENCE.— 16 (c) The Social Services Estimating Conference shall develop 17 information related to the iBudget system for the home-based and 18 community-based Medicaid waiver services program and must 19 include iBudget enrollment, the number of current waiver 20 recipients, the size of the waiting list, the utilization rate 21 of program services, and expenditure information that the 22 conference determines is needed to plan for and project future 23 budgets and the drawdown of federal matching funds. 24 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022.
