    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to grounds for discipline of health
    3         care professionals; amending s. 456.072, F.S.;
    4         providing that certain acts committed by a licensee
    5         are grounds for discipline; providing an effective
    6         date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. Paragraph (m) of subsection (1) of section
   11  456.072, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
   12         456.072 Grounds for discipline; penalties; enforcement.—
   13         (1) The following acts shall constitute grounds for which
   14  the disciplinary actions specified in subsection (2) may be
   15  taken:
   16         (m) Making deceptive, untrue, or fraudulent representations
   17  in or related to the practice of a profession, including, but
   18  not limited to, the advertising of board certification in a
   19  specialty if the licensee has not completed a residency or
   20  fellowship approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate
   21  Medical Education, or employing a trick or scheme in or related
   22  to the practice of a profession.
   23         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2015.
