7 | requiring payment of a license fee; providing for the sale |
8 | of beverages for consumption at the museum; providing for |
9 | transfer of the license; providing an effective date. |

11 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |

13 | Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the |
14 | Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco of the Department of |
15 | Business and Professional Regulation is authorized, upon |
16 | application, to issue an alcoholic beverage license in |
17 | accordance with s. 561.17, Florida Statutes, to the Brevard Art |
18 | Museum, Inc., a corporation not for profit (the "corporation") |
19 | located in Brevard County, for use by the corporation within the |
20 | museum's buildings located at 1463 and 1520 Highland Avenue in |
21 | Melbourne. The corporation shall pay the applicable license fee |
22 | provided in s. 565.02, Florida Statutes. |
23 | Section 2. Alcoholic beverages may be sold by the |
24 | corporation for consumption at the Brevard Art Museum. The |
25 | license issued pursuant to this act does not permit the sale of |
26 | alcoholic beverages in sealed containers for consumption outside |
27 | the Brevard Art Museum. |
28 | Section 3. The corporation may transfer the license from |
29 | time to time to qualified applicants who are authorized by or |
30 | under contract with the corporation to provide food services at |
31 | the Brevard Art Museum. Upon termination of a transferee's |
32 | authorization or contract, the license shall automatically |
33 | revert by operation of law to the corporation. |
34 | Section 4. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. |
