Summary

Requires the Secretary of Children and Family Services to establish the Child Protection Response Workgroup for the purpose of developing an implementation plan for a differential response system to be used in responding to reports of child abuse or neglect. Specifies the duties of the workgroup. Requires a report to the Legislature. Requires the Secretary of Children and Family Services to establish the Child Welfare Professional Advisory Council. Specifies the scope of work of the council. Provides for the secretary to appoint members to the council, etc.
