Summary

Provides a purpose and principles concerning parental and guardian involvement. Provides strategies that a parent or guardian may use to support and improve student achievement. Requires that teachers and schools develop information or use existing information to share with parents or guardians. Requires that prekindergarten through grade 3 teachers monitor and assess the quality of parent or guardian involvement for each student. Requires that the State Board of Education adopt rules establishing an appeals process, etc.
