Summary

Citing this act as the "Toxic Mold Protections Act"; requiring commercial and industrial real property landlords to provide certain written disclosures to tenants under certain circumstances; creating the Toxic Mold Protection Advisory Council adjunct to the Department of Health; requiring the department to develop and adopt, in consultation with the advisory council, permissible exposure limits to molds for indoor environments; requiring the department to develop and adopt, in consultation with the advisory council, standards for assessing the health threat from exposure to molds in indoor environments; providing for enforcement of the permissible exposure limits to molds, the mold assessment standards, and certain disclosure requirements, etc.
