Summary

Providing that a convenience fee imposed upon a student or family paying certain fees by credit card to a private school is not considered a surcharge; providing that ch. 670, F.S., governs certain funds transfers that are remittance transfers; reducing the time limit for a mortgagee or an assignee to cancel a mortgage, except in cases where the loan is an open-end mortgage; providing that a requirement that certain mortgages be cancelled within a specified timeframe does not apply to an open-ended mortgage existing before a certain date if the loan agreement contained procedures for cancelling the mortgage, etc.
