Summary

Requires that a physician refer a minor to an appropriate specialist for screening for autism spectrum disorder under certain circumstances. Provides health insurance coverage for individuals with certain developmental disabilities. Requires the insurer's policy or the HMO's contract to provide a minimum number of visits per year for screening, evaluation, or diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities, etc.
