Summary

Creates "Viral Hepatitis Testing Act of 2012"; provides findings; requires DOH to carry out surveillance, education, & testing programs with respect to hepatitis B & hepatitis C virus infections; requires DOH to establish statewide system for such surveillance, education, & testing; specifies system goals; requires DOH to determine populations within state that are considered at high risk for hepatitis B or hepatitis C; provides for priority of programs; requires that DOH seek to ensure that specified services are provided in culturally & linguistically appropriate manner; requires annual report.
