Prohibits child awaiting trial or other legal process who is treated as adult for purposes of criminal prosecution from being held in jail or other facility intended or used for detention of adults; provides requirement & prohibition if court determines that it is in interest of justice to allow child to be held in jail or other facility intended or used for detention of adults; removes provisions under which court is required to order delivery of child to jail or other facility intended or used for detention of adults.
