Creates Florida Driver's License Citizen Protection Act; prohibits DHSMV from copying & retaining certain verification documents of U.S. citizens obtaining, renewing, or modifying driver's license or identification card; limits requirements to provide verification documents; requires destruction of such documents received & retained by department; exempts certain licensed persons or identification card holders from requirements to provide proof of address; requires department to use existing records for identity verification for normal renewal, reinstatement, or modification of license or identification card; prohibits department from using certain standards for photographs, incorporating any electronic tracking device upon or within any driver's license or identification card, & obtaining fingerprints or biometric DNA material of citizens; allows use of nonresidential address for certain persons.
