AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 21 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO RULES OF THE ROAD. |
Section 1.Amend §4176C, Title 21 of the Delaware Code bymaking deletions as shown by strikethrough and insertions as shown by underline as follows:
(d) Whoever violates this section
shall for the first offense be subject to a civil penalty of $50 $75.
For each subsequent offense the person shall be subject to a civil penalty of
not less than $100 nor more than $200.
SYNOPSIS
This Bill raises the fine for a first offense for using a hand-held cell phone or other electronic device while driving from $50 to $75. |
