Summary

This Act clarifies that Chapter 50C, Title 6 of the Delaware Code, relating to the safe destruction of records containing personal identifying information, applies only to commercial entities that transact business in this State. Additionally, the Act defines “transacts business in this State”, giving it the same meaning as it has in several other contexts under Delaware law.
