Summary

As introduced, this bill requires the Department of Parks and Recreation to implement a pilot program to minimize audible sounds from equipment used in the maintenance of public parks. It also requires the Department of General Services to purchase only electric or battery-powered landscape maintenance equipment whenever possible, beginning in Fiscal Year 2022.
