Summary

As introduced, the bill would make changes to the way votes are counted and winners are chosen in District elections for Mayoral, Council, and Attorney General contests. This bill will provide for an "instant runoff voting" or "ranked choice voting" system, where voters rank candidates by preference and the votes are counted in rounds.
