AN ACT INCREASING FUNDING FOR AGING IN PLACE INITIATIVES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (Effective October 1, 2017) The sum of ____ dollars is appropriated to the Department on Aging from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, to expand programs that provide community and home-based care for persons who are elderly or who have Alzheimer's disease.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
Section 1	October 1, 2017	New section

In Section 1, "(NEW)" was deleted for consistency with drafting conventions.
