AN ACT EXTENDING THE EXEMPTION FROM EMISSIONS TESTING FOR NEW VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the state motor vehicle emissions inspection requirements be amended to exempt new vehicles from emissions testing requirements for the first five years, rather than the first four years, after purchase.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt new vehicles from emissions testing for the first five years after purchase.
