AN ACT CONCERNING PROPERTY TAX RELIEF FOR BUSINESSES AFFECTED BY MAJOR CONSTRUCTION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require any construction project lasting six months or longer to provide funding to reimburse the property taxes of local businesses adversely affected by such construction.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide property tax relief to businesses impacted by areas of major construction.
