AN ACT MAINTAINING FUNDING FOR STATE PROGRAMS AT CURRENT LEVELS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require funding for all state programs to be in the same amounts as for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2011, until such time as the state budget is in surplus.

Statement of Purpose:

To prevent increased state spending until the state budget deficit is eliminated.
