AN ACT CONCERNING CERTAIN STATE PARKS THAT ARE FREE TO THE PUBLIC.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to retain the "free to the public" status of certain state parks that are free to the public unless the local legislative body approves the collection of fees at such park. Furthermore, to provide that any improvements made to such park by the host municipality shall not affect said park's "free to the public" status.

Statement of Purpose:

To keep certain state parks open as free to the public.
