AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR A WATER TOWER AT LAURALTON HALL IN MILFORD.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate two hundred fifty thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of Public Health for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to restore the water tower at Lauralton Hall in Milford and provide a working classroom for students to learn about sustainable water.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide two hundred fifty thousand dollars in bond funds to restore the water tower at Lauralton Hall in Milford and provide a working classroom for students to learn about sustainable water.
