AN ACT REPEALING THE MANDATE THAT MUNICIPALITIES STORE POSSESSIONS OF EVICTED TENANTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 47a-42 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the requirement that municipalities store the possessions of evicted tenants.
Statement of Purpose:
To decrease the burden on municipalities associated with storing possessions of evicted tenants.
