AN ACT ALLOWING MUNICIPALITIES TO DETERMINE THE PROVIDER OF AMBULANCE SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 19a-177 of the general statutes be amended to allow municipalities to determine the provider of ambulance services in service areas located within the municipality.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide local control over emergency medical transport services.
