AN ACT REPEALING A REQUIREMENT THAT MUNICIPALITIES PAY FOR POLICE OFFICER TRAINING.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 7-294p of the general statutes be amended to provide that municipalities are not responsible for the cost of police officer training.

Statement of Purpose:

To remove a mandate that towns pay for police officer training.
