AN ACT CONCERNING A PROGRAM THAT MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FEDERAL ABLE ACT AND ESTABLISHING A DEDUCTION AGAINST THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX FOR CONTRIBUTIONS MADE FOR SUCH PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) establish a program that meets the requirements of the federal Achieving a Better Life Experience Act, (2) allow individuals to establish accounts pursuant to such program to make contributions to pay for disability-related expenses, and (3) establish a deduction against the personal income tax for such contributions.
Statement of Purpose:
