AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR A PARENT MENTOR PILOT PROGRAM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2015) The sum of two hundred thousand dollars is appropriated to the city of New Haven, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, for the purpose of a grant to develop and implement a parent mentor pilot program for the purpose of providing healthy developmental interventions and support to teen mothers of children three years of age or younger and the children of such teen mothers.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

July 1, 2015

Statement of Purpose:

To provide funding to support a parent mentor pilot program in the city of New Haven.
