AN ACT CONCERNING PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTIONS FOR SOLAR PANELS INSTALLED ON INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to make solar panels and similar installations on business and industrial property exempt from property tax.

Statement of Purpose:

To encourage business corporations to make greater use of solar energy by exempting such installations from property tax.
