AN ACT CONCERNING AN INCOME TAX DEDUCTION FOR PERSONS COVERED BY LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to provide a deduction against the personal income tax in the amount of one hundred dollars for persons covered by long-term care insurance.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide a tax deduction incentive for long-term care insurance.
