AN ACT CONCERNING DEFINITIONS PERTAINING TO THE STATE SPENDING CAP.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the General Assembly to comply with the state Constitution by mandating that the enactment or amendment of certain definitions pertaining to the state spending cap be adopted by a vote of three-fifths of the members of each house of the General Assembly.
Statement of Purpose:
To finally implement the constitutional spending cap approved by voters in 1992.
