AN ACT LIMITING THE STATE'S POWER OF EMINENT DOMAIN REGARDING PERMITS AND LICENSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to limit the state's power of eminent domain to the taking of tangible real property or interests in real property and specify that such power does not extend to the taking of licenses or permits.
Statement of Purpose:
To limit the ability of the state to use eminent domain to take a license or permit.
