AN ACT REQUIRING CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR YOUTH CAMP STAFF.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 368r of the general statutes be amended to require that all paid and unpaid staff at any youth camp licensed by the Office of Early Childhood be subject to an annual national criminal background check.
Statement of Purpose:
To require that all paid and unpaid staff at youth camps be subject to annual national criminal background checks in order to provide additional protection to the children served by such camps.
