AN ACT REQUIRING THE INSTALLATION OF CAMERAS IN ALL STATE AND MUNICIPAL POLICE PATROL CARS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapters 104 and 529 of the general statutes be amended to require the installation of a camera on the dashboard of each vehicle primarily used by a state or municipal police department as a patrol car.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure the safety of the public, and state and municipal police officers.
