AN ACT EXPANDING THE TAX CREDIT FOR HIRING DISPLACED WORKERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-217hh of the general statutes be expanded to cover any worker hired who was involuntarily discharged in the past thirty-six months and expand the credit to the personal income tax for noncorporate business entities.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand the displaced workers' tax credit and make it available to LLCs and S corporations.
