AN ACT CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF UNIFORM STANDARDS FOR THE ACCEPTANCE OF A POWER OF ATTORNEY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 7 of the general statutes be amended to provide for the establishment of uniform standards for the acceptance of a duly executed power of attorney.

Statement of Purpose:

To establish uniform standards for the acceptance of a power of attorney to ensure that consumers are not unduly burdened when utilizing such power of attorney.
