AN ACT CONCERNING STATE INCOME TAX AND DUAL EMPLOYMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to exempt any individual who is employed on a full-time basis with one employer and a part-time basis with a second employer from paying state income tax on their part-time wages, provided the individual's part-time employment does not exceed twenty hours per week.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow state income tax relief for persons working a second part-time job.
