AN ACT CONCERNING MILITARY FUNERALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That three hundred thousand dollars in Department of Transportation moneys for the purpose of participating in a certain federal study on a tax based on vehicle miles traveled be instead appropriated to fund honor guards details, as described in section 27-76 of the general statutes, at their current levels.
Statement of Purpose:
To reallocate moneys for the purpose of studying a mileage tax to instead pay for honor guard details at funerals of state veterans.
