AN ACT PROHIBITING THE REORDERING OF TRANSACTIONS FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAXIMIZING OVERDRAFT FEES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit banks from reordering transactions for the sole purpose of maximizing overdraft fees.

Statement of Purpose:

To create more fairness in banking.
